Our Learning and Exchange program is designed to bring Armenian modern and contemporary art into global cultural conversations. Through academic research, curatorial dialogue, and interdisciplinary collaboration, we aim to foster new critical frameworks for understanding Armenian art—within and beyond national boundaries.

Armenian art has long remained underrepresented in international discourse. Its distinct aesthetic traditions, lack of affiliation with mainstream Western movements, and the absence of dedicated cultural infrastructure have contributed to this oversight. Our program addresses these gaps through conferences, symposia, and collaborative research initiatives with institutions working across cultural theory, art history, social and visual anthropology, migration studies, and diaspora art.

These activities are conceived as spaces of exchange—bringing together artists, scholars, and cultural practitioners from Armenia and the diaspora. Together, we explore how diverse political and cultural contexts shape artistic practices and how Armenian art can be more fully integrated into global conversations about modernity, identity, and cultural production.

By advancing academic engagement and institutional partnerships, we aim to shift the perception and positioning of Armenian art, building the knowledge base and critical discourse necessary for its future visibility and impact.
