Arkady Baghdasaryan (ARKO)
Honored artist of Armenia
One of Armenia’s first abstractionists
Arko was born on the 25th of August, 1945. He studied at Yerevan State Institute of Art and Theatre and graduated in 1971. Since his time at the Institute he has been involved in different republic exhibitions.
Since 1988 his works have been permanently exhibited in different galleries of Germany and throughout Europe.
Since 1968 – the participant of the Republican and International Exhibitions: Armenia, Russia, USA, Germany, France, Sweden, Italy, Belgium, Japan, Luxembourg, etc.
Since 1976 – the member of Artists Union of Armenia
Since 1994 – the member of International Association of Professional Artists
Since 1990 he has been exhibiting his work in solo and group exhibitions throughout Germany.
