Outstanding Armenian artist Lev Bayakhchev was born, lived and died in Tbilisi, Georgia – the country of many prominent Armenian artist. He is a very distinguished representative of the Tbilisi school of art.
The Georgian National Museum and Tbilisi History Museum own a comprehensive collection of around 60 works. His works are also preserved in numerous public and private art galleries and collections internationally. His “Crucifixion” is in the St Gevorg Armenian Church in Tbilisi.
All the works in this rare collection are for sale and were created during the peak of his career in 1975
The works were purchased in 1995 from the artist’s family himself.
